In the night residential blocks and skyscrapers form amazing sea of lights. This series of photographs isolates the countless windows shining in the middle of darkness making them almost pure abstracts. Cities are a universe by themselves. Each building, each window and the residents inside write a unique varying code to the dark sky. These single exposure images have been photographed at night in Tokyo, New York and Helsinki.
